  1. Just found your blog via When I Get The Time, love the bag, it caught my attention as I am hoping to make some bags this year for xmas gifts. Love the bright funky fabric.

  3. That's a great bag!! Isn't it satisfying to turn raw materials into something useful and beautiful!! I love the fabric too, where did you get it from? I'm really enjoying watching you get to grips with your new sewing machine, it seems like you're having a lot of fun with it! xx

  4. Thanks everyone :) I am liking how quickly you can make things on a sewing machine compared to laborious hand stitching.

The fabric was a remnant piece I bought for £2. The edge printing says it by Clarke and Clarke, if that means anything to anyone!

  7. Ok now lady, pack it in.. I've not even got the thread for my sewing machine and I've had it months..and you're making bags already!

(I confess there is some sewing machine fear going on with me, sharp needles going fast, I have visions of sewing my fingers together)

Seriously, beautiful bag, really like the fabric!

  8. Lovely bag! But I warn you - it's addictive! I got my sewing machine last Christmas and have fallen in love with sewing. I have got seriously distracted by all the lovely things you can make that I have not yet made the curtains that were the reason for buying the machine in the first place! Happy sewing! :)
